Whatcom Athletics to Host Winter Auction - SIGN UP TODAY!
The online auction will be hosted in conjunction with the end of the basketball regular season. The event starts on Monday, February 17th, and continues until Saturday, February 22nd.
Whatcom Community College Athletics works with the WCC Foundation to support the athletics program, especially student athlete scholarships. The scholarship funding is crucial for student athletes competing in the highly competitive NWAC conference.
We want to provide an incredible experience for our students during their Whatcom CC experience. The funds raised through this winter's online auction will help provide life-changing opportunities for WCC student athletes. Recent fundraising efforts have fueled new initiatives for WCC Athletics such as sports psychology support for student athletes, a new student athlete lounge in the Pavilion, and a new engaging website platform.
Our fundraising efforts support student scholarships, new department initiatives, new equipment (e.g. new basketball shooting machine), and enhanced transportation for away games. We creatively take on new endeavors and challenges to continue enhancing the WCC student athlete experience.
Some of the items that will be in the auction next week:
- Two tickets to the Seattle Mariners. Watch the team as they work to make the playoffs in 2025!
- Four tickets to the Everett Silvertips Hockey. Grab your friends to watch them play this season!
- Canadian Blueman Colin James comes to Bellingham on March 8th, 2025. Watch at Mount Baker Theatre.
- Michael Jordan, Skybox playing card.
