Dig Pink Celebrates Oct. 17 vs. Shoreline

How it started: The Dig Pink program was founded by Rick Dunetz, a high school volleyball coach whose mother was diagnosed with Stage IV breast cancer. He created The Side-out Foundation to focus on funding research for metastatic breast cancer and initiated Dig Pink events at volleyball games. The program educated communities about the importance of metastatic breast cancer research and supports those living with the disease. Dig Pink brings together volleyball teams, parents, and communities in a shared effort to fight cancer.
