2026 Orca Pickleball Spring Classic Tournament

The Orca Pickleball Spring Classic Tournament will be held from Friday, June 12th, 2026 to Sunday, June 14th, 2026. The Whatcom Community College Pickleball Courts are next to the Student Recreation Center Pavilion. The tournament will be held at 237 W. Kellogg Road in Bellingham.

2026 Whatcom Athletic Awards Held in Gym for First Time.

The Whatcom Orcas opened their 2025-2026 Athletic Awards to the public for the first time. The event made the awards ceremony the largest in the school's history. The student-athletes enjoyed having so many supporters along for the event.

Orcas Men's Basketball Triumphs Over the Olympic Rangers, 84-72.

Whatcom starts the 2025-26 NWAC North league season at 3-0. The Orcas will face rival Skagit Valley this Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in Bellingham. Skagit is also 3-0 to start the league season. The Orcas fell behind early at 5-4, but they never trailed the Rangers again.

Orcas Take Early Season League Win Over Everett, 94-88 (OT)

The Whatcom Community College Orcas men’s basketball team opened league play with a strong performance, defeating Everett 94–88 in overtime. The win moves the Orcas to 1–0 in league play and 4–10 overall.

The Orcas opened their season last night at Highline College in Des Moines, WA. Whatcom fell 80-72 in a non-league game. The Orcas will continue their season on Friday, Nov. 21st vs. Centralia C.C. in Auburn, WA. at 4 p.m. next week.
