Orcas Men's Basketball Triumphs Over the Olympic Rangers, 84-72.
Whatcom starts the 2025-26 NWAC North league season at 3-0. The Orcas will face rival Skagit Valley this Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in Bellingham. Skagit is also 3-0 to start the league season. The Orcas fell behind early at 5-4, but they never trailed the Rangers again.

BELLINGHAM — Whatcom men's basketball continues to find ways to win early in the league season. Daniel Jackson Jr. led the Orcas with 18 points and eight rebounds, going a perfect 6-for-6 from the free-throw line. Freshman Christian Cardona added 18 points of his own, while Corey Tita (Fr.) anchored the defense and pulled down eight rebounds.

Saturday should be a great set of games in Bellingham. Men's Basketball starts at 2 p.m. and its followed by the Women's team at 4 p.m. There will be a fundraiser for Whatcom CC Athletics in the Whatcom CC Pavilion Lobby. It will run from 1 p.m - 5 p.m. The fundraiser helps to support WCC Student-Athlete scholarships, gear, and travel.
