2026 Whatcom Athletic Awards Held in Gym for First Time.
The Whatcom Orcas opened their 2025-2026 Athletic Awards to the public for the first time. The event made the awards ceremony the largest in the school's history. The student-athletes enjoyed having so many supporters along for the event.
Bellingham - Guy Smith, has been the announcer for the Orcas for years. Thursday night, he helped to keep the Orcas entertained as he served as the emcee for the event.
Smith helped introduce Athletic Director Rob Pedicone, so that he could introduce the coaches of the five athletic teams. Here is a list of the awards that were granted from each team.
