Bio

Megan Miller joined Whatcom Community College's volleyball program in 2022 as the Second Assistant Coach and was promoted to First Assistant Coach in 2023. She plays a key role in the recruiting process, identifying and developing talent to strengthen the Orcas' competitive edge. Megan’s coaching philosophy emphasizes Commitment, Development, and Mentorship, creating an environment where student-athletes can excel both on and off the court. Her leadership focuses on fostering individual growth, team cohesion, and personal development to help players reach their full potential.

Megan began her coaching career in 2021 as the Head Coach for Sehome High School’s JV Volleyball team, where she led the team to a third-place conference finish after a significant turnaround. She also gained experience coaching U14-U18 club volleyball teams with Apex NW Volleyball Club, further honing her leadership skills. A former player for the Orcas during the 2020-2021 season, Megan’s volleyball journey began at the age of 8 in Whatcom County. Outside of coaching, she balances her education at WCC with a full-time role at a physical therapy clinic, demonstrating her dedication to lifelong learning and professional growth.
